Sheriff Randall Edwards has been serving Canadian County since 2009.

Since the day he took office his responsibility to the people of Canadian County is something he has taken seriously.

“It’s a responsibility that I don’t take lightly, protecting the people of this county,” said Sheriff Edwards.

“We’re out there to help those who can’t help themselves.”

The Office of Sheriff differs from other law enforcement officials in that it’s elected by the people.

“It’s going to be an office of the people. That office is going to have the ability to make sure that the rights of the people are protected. And that’s where you have the Sheriff’s Office.”

In Canadian County, Sheriff Edwards and his deputies take protecting people very seriously:

“I want to be sure, here, in this county, that the Republic for which we stand, one Nation under God, is indivisible.”
