Brought to you by the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office and hosted by OSA, this course provides introductory level education into detention, jail and correctional investigations. Open to all Sheriff’s Office staff, this 2-day course will provide students with a working knowledge of the steps needed for detention-based investigations and additional information that would assist investigators assigned to detention centers/jails/prisons in the state of Oklahoma.  This course will include information concerning the importance of intelligence gathering, gang identification, the cultivation of informants and the importance of information sharing.  Bringing a laptop, tablet or other portable computer is highly recommended for this course.
