U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions traveled to Oklahoma on October 19th, 2017 to personally address the Oklahoma Sheriffs’ Association. Many Sheriffs from across the state traveled to hear the Attorney General. He addressed criminal justice reform and State Questions 780 & 781 and their impact at the county and state levels. Other speakers included Lieutenant Governor Todd Lamb, Oklahoma Attorney General Mike Hunter, State Representative Tim Downing, State Representative Scott Biggs, Oklahoma County Sheriff (Ret.) John Whetsel, National Sheriffs’ Association Executive Director Johnathan Thompson, and Oklahoma Sheriffs’ Association Executive Director Ray McNair.
