Law enforcement officers put their lives on the line daily; the Back the Blue Rally held at the Oklahoma State Capitol on Monday, October 12th, 2015 focused on expressing gratitude to these officers’ dedication and hard work to the job. Governor Mary Fallin reported that Officers, “Responded to 403 armed robbery calls, 2,596 assaults with a deadly weapon, and over 35,000 calls for domestic disturbances just in the city of Oklahoma City alone.”
Oklahoma Sheriffs [shown above] attended to support the rally and express their gratitude for the event. “Working in law enforcement can be a dangerous job, but it should never be a thankless one,” said Fallin.
