Sheriff Dougherty to Race in Fallen Hero 50

Sheriff Dougherty to Race in Fallen Hero 50

Posted on: May 5th, 2017   Topic: OSA News

Sheriff Charlie Dougherty of Lincoln County will be driving a specially designed race car at the Red Dirt Raceway in Meeker on May 26th, 2017 at 7:30 PM.  The race is a 50-lap named the Fallen Hero 50. The car paint scheme [pictured below with Sheriff Charlie Dougherty] consists of the names of our fallen heroes, including the three Deputies who have died this year. There will be no charge for law enforcement that night with credentials and there is a special tail-gating section on the race track where all law enforcement will be parking. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be provided and all law enforcement will need to bring are their own beverages.

The Oklahoma Sheriffs’ Association would like to ask that everyone come out and support Sheriff Dougherty at the Fallen Hero 50 race.
