Requirements:
- Be a citizen of the United States.
- Possess a Valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Can not possess a Medical Marijuana card.
- Possess good moral character and achieve a passing evaluation on the MMPI exam.
- Achieve a passing score on the POSSE exam.
- Be 21 years of age or older.
- CLEET Certification is preferred but not required.
- Must pass a background investigation, oral interview, and drug test.
- Cannot have pending criminal charges and must not have had a DUI, DWI, or reckless driving violation within the last five(5) years.
- Be able to relocate and reside within 10 miles of the county line for a take-home patrol vehicle.
- Be able to work all shifts, including but not limited to weekends, holidays, & callouts.
Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance is provided for the employee and the County pays up to $500.00/mo for spouse and/or children.
