  • Be a citizen of the United States.
  • Possess a Valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Can not possess a Medical Marijuana card.
  • Possess good moral character and achieve a passing evaluation on the MMPI exam.
  • Achieve a passing score on the POSSE exam.
  • Be 21 years of age or older.
  • CLEET Certification is preferred but not required.
  • Must pass a background investigation, oral interview, and drug test.
  • Cannot have pending criminal charges and must not have had a DUI, DWI, or reckless driving violation within the last five(5) years.
  • Be able to relocate and reside within 10 miles of the county line for a take-home patrol vehicle.
  • Be able to work all shifts, including but not limited to weekends, holidays, & callouts. 

Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance is provided for the employee and the County pays up to $500.00/mo for spouse and/or children.
