Oklahoma County Sheriffs Office Mourns the Loss of Deputy Jeremy McCain

Posted on: March 24th, 2023   Topic: OSA News OSA News & Announcements

Today we have heavy hearts as the Oklahoma County Sheriffs Office, as well as offices around the state, mourn the loss of Sheriff’s Deputy Jeremy McCain.

McCain was a school resource officer for six years at Oklahoma Christian School and was well-liked in the community. On Friday March 1oth, Deputy McCain’s police cruiser collided with a security gate after working a basketball game on the school’s campus. The crash left him pinned in his cruiser and caused the deputy ultimately fatal injuries. McCain fought valiantly in the hospital for nearly two weeks before tragically succumbing to his injuries.

Our hearts go out to the OCS community, the Oklahoma County Sheriffs, and especially to the family and loved ones of Deputy Jeremy McCain. He will truly be missed by the community and those that knew him. The funeral service McCain is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, at Crossings Community Church.
