Oklahoma Sheriffs’ Association is looking for an entry-level professional with a friendly attitude and the ability to multitask to serve as our company’s front desk role. In this position you will be responsible for answering, screening, and managing the phones. You will also be responsible for maintaining the office agenda calendar. You will work a set schedule that’s free of weekends and evening hours. We pride ourselves on providing a safe and welcoming atmosphere.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate would have excellent telephone, computer, and communication skills along with possessing a positive attitude in the workplace.
Duties would include answering, screening, and directing calls. Retrieving, and distributing daily mail to Office Administrator. Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email. Notifying office personnel of visitor arrival. Service visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately. Maintain calendars for the office and your coworkers. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements and Skills:
Proven work experience as receptionist, front office representative or similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook
Hands-on experience with office equipment (i.e., computers and printers)
Professional attitude and appearance
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Multitasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Proficiency in maintaining multiple office calendars.
