The Kay County Detention Center is accepting applications for:

 

Detention Officer (15.00hr 31,200 per yr. to start)

Hiring all shifts (8hr shifts)

 

Prisoner Transport Officer:

Reserve or full CLEET certification (19.00hr 39,520.00 per yr. to start)

Day shift typically with some out of state travel available

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain CLEET certification

Must pass a background investigation

  • No felony convictions or major misdemeanors
  • No domestic violence convictions
  • No convictions for crimes of moral turpitude
  • No pending criminal charges
  • Must be available to work shift work and holidays
  • Highly principled ethics and moral character
  • A true desire to serve and protect the public

Graduation from a high school or GED certificate

Must Pass drug screening
