The position would be a Full-Time Law Enforcement Officer working all Kiowa County. Commissioned Deputies must be self-motivated, require minimal supervision, and promote high standards of honesty, integrity, and fairness.
Requirements:
- 21 years of age and a U.S. Citizen
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must have a valid Oklahoma Driver’s License
- Have no Felony or major misdemeanor convictions, or no pending criminal charges
- Have no domestic abuse convictions
- Must not be involved with illicit drug use or abuse
- Must be able to perform duties without any physical restrictions or special accommodations
- Must be willing to work either day or night shift
- Must pass background investigation, psychological assessment test, drug screening
- Must pass oral interview
- Must relocate to Kiowa County
C.L.E.E.T. certified preferred
