The position would be for a Full Time Detention Officer in the Kiowa County Jail.

• 20 years of age and a U.S. Citizen
• Must have a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Valid Driver’s License

The position would be Full-Time Law Enforcement Officer working all Kiowa County. Commissioned Deputies must be self-motivated, require minimal supervision, and promote high standards of honesty, integrity and fairness.
Requirements:
• 21 years of age and a U.S. Citizen
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Must have a valid Oklahoma Driver’s license
• Have no Felony of major Misdemeanor convictions, or no pending criminal charges
• Have no domestic abuse convictions
• Must not be involved with illicit drug use or abuse
• Must have sound judgement and the ability to think quickly
• Must be able to perform duties without any physical restrictions or special accommodations
• Must be willing to work either day or night shift
• Must be able to pass extensive background check, psychological assessment test and drug screening
• Must pass oral interview
• Must relocate to Kiowa County
C.L.E.E.T. Certified is preferred
