Understanding Mental Illness, Effective Responses and Community Resources

Description: Training Purpose & Target Audience: Customized training for criminal justice stakeholders in Oklahoma. The goal is to help the disciplines understand a greater perspective of the individual who is or at risk to be justice involved and interact to most effectively provide options for diversion, connection to resources, and a disposition that bends towards treatment not punishment for mental illness. Trainings qualify as 4 hours of CLEET credit (2 of mental health)
